ADVANCED

WINTER AWARENESS COURSE

February 11-12, 2017 - OUTDOOR Session - 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sunday

NEW SESSION ADDED - for those who cannot make the 11th-12th we have added February 25th-26th as an option.

Location: Kirkwood area (more information to follow later)

Cost:  $35 if paid by Satuday, Febuary 3rd -- $40 thereafter.

Trek Planning / Winter back country travel & ethics /How to stay warm /

What to do if ... / Weather / Equipment / Wilderness first aid /

Map & Compass / Snow shelters /

Food planning, packaging & cooking / Where to trek /

Patches and awards / Stoves & fuel / And much more!

This training is appropriate for

  • 1st Class and above Scouts who are 13 or older
  • All Venturing Scouts
  • All Registered Scout Leaders

Late fee
After 2/3/2017 a fee of $5.00 will apply to all Adult Registrants.
After 2/3/2017 a fee of $5.00 will apply to all Youth Registrants.
Cancellation Policy
All fees are non-refundable but may be either transferred to another registrant or transferred to a future training event (to be used within the 12 months following this event). Please direct all questions/concerns to the Council (209) 545-6320.
