Cub Scout Shooting Sports

Training March 14, 2020

Range officer instruction will be conducted that will train Scouters to conduct archery ranges at Council Cub Day and Resident Camps. Upon successful completion of the training a certificate card valid for two years will be issued.

The cost is $15 for the training. The cost includes materials, snacks and bottled water. Lunch will be provided. Same day registration will be $20.

“This training is required for all staff and assistants at Cub Day Camps, and Cub and Webelo Resident Camps to conduct Archery and BB Gun Shooting activities and events. Archery gives the basics of Archery Instruction, safety, range operations, and shooting skills so you can run an effective Archery program for Cub Scouts and Webelos. The BB Gun Training portion teaches the basics of the BB Gun/pellet program instruction, range operation, and skills so you can run a safe and effective BB Gun program for Cubs and pellet program for Webelos.”
