National Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.

NYLT PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Boy Scout Participants must be First Class or above and at least 13 years of age before June 11, 2018, but not yet 18 by the time camp ends on June 16, 2018.
  • Venturing and Sea Scout Participants must be at least 14 years of age before June 11, 2018, but not yet 21 years old by the time camp ends on June 16, 2018.
  • Participants will live by the Scout Oath or Sea Scout Oath; and Scout Law at all times.
  • Participants will wear their proper uniform – Field (Class A) or Activity (Class B) Uniforms.
  • Attend Participant/Parent/Scout Leader orientation on May 12, at the Modesto Service Center. The orientation will begin at 10:00 AM, lasting about two hours.
  • Provide a current copy of the Annual BSA Health and Medical Record – Part A, B, and C.

Late fee
After 5/1/2018 a fee of $25.00 will apply to all Participant Registrants.
Cancellation Policy
All fees are non-refundable but may be either transferred to another registrant or transferred to a future training event (to be used within the 12 months following this event). Please direct all questions/concerns to the Council (209)545-6320.
