 22nd World Jamboree - Sweden July 27 - August 7, 2011

Informational Meeting will be held on March 18 at the Council Service Center beginning at 7:00pm.

If you are a Boy Scout or Venturer who will be between the ages of 14 and 17 on July 27, 2011, -- that is, specifically born between July 25, 1993, and July 27, 1997 -- you may be qualified for one of the coolest Scouting events you’ll ever attend.  Flyer

Attention All Units

The NEW Unit Program Planner also known as the calendar is now available at your upcoming roundtables.  If you are unable to attend your District Roundtable then stop by the Council Service Center in Modesto or in the Stockton Office (open from Noon-5:00pm).  Check out the calendar to assist with what is happening around the council.  Summer camp dates are in the calendar for your Scouts who are planning to attend Summer Day Camp,  Camp Akela at McConnell, Webelos Adventure at Mensinger and Boy Scout Summer Camp at Mensinger.  Also, listed are training events throughout the Council and Districts.

The Northern California 100th Anniversary Jamboree

April 15-18, 2010

Alameda County Fairgrounds

In 2010 the Boy Scouts of America is celebrating its 100th Anniversary with activities and programs scheduled throughout the year.  The largest event in Northern California will be the 100th Anniversary Jamboree at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity!  A joint production of Northern California Councils, the 100th Anniversary Jamboree will be a huge gathering of Cubs, Scouts, Sea Scouts, Explorers and Venturers for a memorable weekend of fun and activities.

Tour Permits Online Submit and Online Approval

Tour Permits are now able to be submitted online!  For processing a tour permit, please log on to www.myscouting.org.  The first tour permit you fill out will take a few minutes to fill in the necessary information.  However, after you have saved the necessary information it will be saved for further tour permits.  Tour Permit Instructions                        MyScouting Tour Permit Information

BSA Introduces Online Learning Center, offering Youth Protection Training, Cub Scout Leader Fast Start, Boy Scout Leader Fast Start, Venturing Advisor Fast Start, Troop Committee Challenge, Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat, Venture Crew Orientation, and Venturer Youth Protection Training.
