The New Leader Essentials session (taken only once) is designed for all volunteers and provides the basics of the Scouting
programs, age appropriateness of those programs, scout values, and methods. Leader Specific Training is designed to present
in-depth information for a new leader in a specific leadership position such as den leader or committee member. Please go online at
www.yosemitescouting.org and complete the fast start and youth protection trainings before you come, if you have not already done
so. These sessions will help complete the training you need to receive a "Trained" patch to wear on your scout uniform for the
position you hold or are looking to hold. (Exception-Webelos leaders will need to complete the outdoors training portion
at a later date)

One Day trip on Cache Creek – August 9
You’re on the water. Getting some sun. There is a Bald Eagle. Rafting down this Class—3 river is filled with adventure and Thrills. Guiding a rubber raft through the swift currents and boiling rapids, dazzling white under a morning sun, is an exhilarating experience.
$ 53.25 Camp Fee includes: One day of river rafting and use of the Cache Creek Canyon Regional Park campground.
Unaccompanied Scouts must be at least 12 years old. Scouts between 11 and 12 must have a parent with them on the water. All Scouts and Scouters must be swimmers.
