Adult Leader Roundtables

Cub Scout Roundtable

Our knowledgeable, enthusiastic Cub Roundtable team will be providing ideas for your den and pack meeting needs. Come and learn ceremonies, skits, songs, games etc. based on the upcoming month’s theme. Roundtable also provides a great opportunity to share ideas with other Cub leaders.

Boy Scout Roundtable

Adult troop leaders won’t want to miss Boy Scout Roundtable. Each month’s meeting is packed with information, training and excitement. We're offering a new feature inviting leaders to highlight a favorite camping location.  Please complete a report on your favorite camping place and submit it to Megan Mallory.  For 2009-2010 agenda please visit this page.

Unit Commissioners Help Units Succeed

Unit Commissioners are experienced district volunteers who coach and consult with the adult leaders of every Scouting unit. Commissioners help maintain the standards of the Boy Scouts of America. They also oversee the unit charter renewal plan so that each unit reregisters on time with an optimum number of youth and adult members. This will become especially import this year as we convert our recharter process to the new Internet Recharter process being provided by the B.S.A. The Unit Commissioner plays several roles, including friend, representative, unit "doctor," teacher, and counselor. Every pack, troop, team and crew should by contacted monthly by its Commissioner. Has your unit taken advantage of the expertise and experience offered by a Unit Commissioner recently? For more information, contact your District Commissioner, Ron Schell.
