Committee Meetings
District Committee meets are held the first Thursday of each month.
At the First United Methodist Church at 1610 East St. in Tracy at 7:30 pm.
Cub Scout and Boy Scout Roundtable Meetings
Roundtable meetings are held the second Thursday of each month.

Scouts & Scouters to Tame the Wild West!
2008 Waukeen District
Camporee & Webeloree
Taming the Wild West
Dates: Friday, May 2nd thru Sunday, May 4th, 2008
Place: Lake Don Pedro in LaGrange, California, Campground
Area C. (Check out their site at www.donpedrolake.com)
$12 per person fee due by Friday, April 11th to the Modesto
Service Center. Price includes camping fee and Camporee
Patch. Fee is $25 per person after April 11th.
NO walk-ins.
Please register by Unit. Lone Scouts are welcome and will be placed
in a Den or Patrol for competitions.
Bear Scouts who will be moving
into Webelos by June 1st, 2008, are eligible to attend the Webeloree.
To reserve your Unit’s place please complete and return the form
along with a $2 per person “save-our-place” fee.
Important!
Event information packets will be mailed to all registered Committee Chairmen, Cubmasters,
Scoutmasters, and Crew Advisors during the first week of March.

Scoutmaster Cobbler Cook-Off.
Special Craftsman activities for Webelos Scouts.
Bullwhip, blacksmith, horsemanship, and tracking demos.
Saturday evening campfire and Order of the Arrow Call Out.
Den and Patrol Competitions (subject to change):
Archery, Biscuit Bake, Bolo Toss, Canoeing, Firebuilding,
Jail Break Obstacle Course, Old West Medicine,
Orienteering Course, Railroad Bridge Building,
Telegraph/Morse Code Relay, and Tomahawk Throw (Boy
Scouts and Venture only).
