DESCRIPTION: \n 	 \n 		 \n 			 \n 		 \n 		 \n 			 \n 			  \n  \n  \n 			Embark on a journey back in time with our Oregon Trail-themed Camporee, where scouts will step into the shoes of pioneers venturing across the rugged terrain of the American frontier. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Oregon wilderness, this immersive experience offers a glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of those who dared to traverse the trail in search of a better life. Scouts will have the opportunity to reenact key moments of the historic journey, from fording rivers to hunting for sustenance, all while learning valuable wilderness survival skills. \n  \n  \n 			  \n  \n 			  \n  \n 			As dusk settles and the campsite comes alive with the glow of lanterns, scouts will gather around the campfire to share stories of their virtual exploits and strategize for the journey ahead. Guided by experienced scout leaders, participants will learn valuable teamwork and decision-making skills as they navigate the twists and turns of the Oregon Trail. Through a series of interactive challenges and quests, scouts will forge bonds of friendship and create memories that will last a lifetime.  So pack your wagons and join us for an unforgettable expedition along the Oregon Trail, where the spirit of adventure awaits! \n  \n  \n 			  \n  \n  \n 			  \n  \n  \n 			NOTE: This is a Scouts, BSA activity. Arrow of Light Dens may work with troops to attend this event as their guest. All adults must be registered members of Scouting America. \n  \n  \n 			  \n  \n  \n 			Event fees include Friday and Saturday cracker barrel, program supplies, and an event patch. Meals are not included. We are not collecting scout names as part of registration, the scout fee is the same as the adult leaders, $40. \n  \n  \n 			  \n  \n  \n 			  \n  \n 			  \n  \n 			 \n 		 \n 	 \n
