Join us for an enriching Camp Carnival that brings together our esteemed chartered organizations for a day of connection and community building. We invite you to come and help us beautify Camp McConnell while sharing insights into the missions, challenges, and successes of our respective organizations. This will be an excellent opportunity to network, learn, grow, and build great bonds.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided. If individuals have dietary restrictions, we ask that you bring your own food. A free night of camping will be offered to all attendees! Please bring your own camping gear if you choose to participate.
Possible projects could be:
- Replace old posts and railings around the lodge
- Pull weeds and clear overgrown areas
- Install or repair drip irrigation systems for plants
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and vegetation
- General cleanup and organization of storage spaces
We do not have enough equipment for all attendees! Suggested items to bring:
- Work gloves, protective goggles/glasses, durable/warm clothing, hats
- Bug spray, sun protection, water bottles
- Your own food if you have special dietary needs
- Gardening tools, power tools, buckets/bags for debris collection, paint brushes, cleaning products
- If staying over night, you must bring your own camping gear and food for the following day.
- A spirit of teamwork and enthusiasm!
