        We want to welcome you and your team of crafty engineers to participate in a single winner competitive event to support the local Boy Scouting movement. Each team may enter one car per registration. Registration is limited to any local organization or business. To register a car please complete the registration form and submit the proper registration along with the registration fee of $100 payable to Greater Yosemite Council. Additional cars require separate registration(s).
 
        Along with registration in the Benefactor’s Cup Race, Each benefactor will receive event recognition throughout the day during all the races in the form of 11x17 signage and announcements. Registration needs to be received by March 20, 2018 for signage.
 
        Rules and Regulations for the cars and race are similar to the Rules and Regulations for the District Pinewood Derby Race. Use of the kit is recommended and encouraged but is optional. The car must conform to the same specifications found in the official BSA rules and Regulations for Pinewood Racing; the wheels must be wood or plastic. The track is a traditional aluminum track with a center guide rail that guides the cars by the inner wheel base. Any car registered exceeding the regulations will have an opportunity to correct the error before the start of the race or be disqualified. After the car has been inspected, no further adjustments may be made, only repairs.
       
        The winner of the District Pinewood Derby and the Annual Benefactor’s Cup may have the option for a final race and bragging rights.

Cancellation Policy
All fees are non-refundable but may be either transferred to another registrant or transferred to a future event (to be used within the 12 months following this event). Please direct all questions/concerns to the Council (209)545-6320.
