Upon successful completion of the Leave No Trace Trainer Course, each participant will become a qualified Leave No Trace Trainer. Those who complete the course are equipped to:
Understand, demonstrate, and teach minimum impact techniques;
Lead outdoor ethics discussions and help others explore their own personal outdoor ethic; and,
Conduct Leave No Trace Awareness Workshops.
Participants must complete all 16 hours of the training and show proof of completion of the BSA Youth Protection Training and Hazardous Weather Training to graduate from this course.

Where: |
The session is taught online (January 19th) and in person (January 29th - 30th) at Camp Warren McConnell. |
Who: |
Adult leaders, youth (14+ years old & 1st class or above). Scouts must be accompanied by a specified adult leader at a ratio of 1 adult for every 3 youth. Please see the “Greater Yosemite Council High Adventure Team Code of Conduct” for clarification. |
Numbers: |
There must be at least 6 participants registered by January 8th, 2022th. Class size limited to 24 individuals. |
Includes: |
Saturday night Cracker Barrel and Sunday breakfast and lunch. |
Bring: |
Bring suitable clothing, footwear, and equipment for outdoor activities. Bring lunch and snacks for two days, and a dinner. Certificate of online training for youth protection. |
