When: REQUIRED Zoom meeting: 10/7 @7pm-10pm

           In-Person Training: 10/24-25, 7:30am Sat—1 pm Sun

Where: Camp Warren McConnell

What to bring: Bring suitable clothing, footwear, and equipment for outdoor activities. Bring lunch and snacks for two days, and a dinner.

Leave No Trace helps reinforce that mission, and reminds us to respect the rights of other users of the outdoors as well as future generations. Appreciation for our natural environment and a knowledge of the interrelationships of nature bolster our respect and reverence toward the environment and nature.

Registered Scouters (18+) may take the Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor (formerly Trainer) course leading to certification as a Level 1 Leave No Trace Instructor. Registered Scouts (14+/First Class) and Scouters may take the Leave NO Trace Skills Course.

Level 1 Certification will require 2 hours of online training prior to the weekend and a 10-15 minute presentation of outdoor training to be determined at the online training.

Those registering must have completed Safeguarding Youth, Hazard Weather Training, California AB 506.
