HYLC 10th Annual Fall Community Service for the Tuolumne River Regional Park

The Hispanic Youth leadership Council (HYLC)  has adopted the TRRP for the last ten years and is committed to two community service projects per year — one in the fall and the other in the spring.

On Saturday, September 28th we had nearly 200 HYLC members ready to work along the Gateway Parcel.  The young men and women did an amazing amount of clearing weeds from the 17 acre parcel, removed tons of litter, and painted out graffiti on 7th and 9th Street Bridges.

We want to give special thanks to the following schools that were present: Weston Ranch, Sierra, Lathrop, Pitman, Enochs, Gregori, Beyer, Waterford, Merced, Turlock, Patterson, Central Valley, Hughson, Buhach, and Orestimba.
